SimMD Dataset
SimMD is a simulated dataset created to support research on the Multi-Depot Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (Multi-Depot CVRP). It provides 100 carefully generated instances that vary in size and difficulty, all set within a standardized 1000 x 1000 Euclidean space. Each problem includes multiple depots, randomly located customers with unit demands, and a homogeneous fleet of vehicles subject to capacity limits. The dataset has already been adopted in international data challenge competitions such as INCOM 2024 and MIM 2025, where it has proven useful for benchmarking optimization approaches.
